“Cellular Plans From This Carrier Cannot be Added” Error Message

This error means your device is network locked. To install or use an eSIM, it must be unlocked.

Check: Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock.

If it says "No SIM Restrictions," your phone is unlocked. If not, contact your mobile carrier to request an unlock.
